"Exactly one year ago today, I was admitted to my first daypatient service because I was struggling with an eating disorder, and I needed help. 12 months later, I am now only a couple of days away from being discharged from my current service and have decided to celebrate with the release of my own recovery tees and (hopefully) raise some funds for @beatedsupport who helped me when I couldn’t see a future without the illness.

Thank you to Chatti Allen for designing the eating disorder recovery symbol that is featured on the cover of my poetry book ‘the girl who decided to go for it’, and now these t-shirts.

To anyone out there who is struggling, it’s never too late to reach out and turn your life around. It is the hardest thing you will ever do, but also the most rewarding. I am proof of that."
